King of The Cage - win by TKO
This guy is quite a character....let's start with his fight name....he REALLY is a lumberjack! The first time that I knew that this guy was special, was when my Dad (another lumberjack) told me about Dalton's work ethic. Dalton would call my Dad and ask him to drop off a transport load of wood (in log form). Dalton would then cut it, split it, pile it, and then deliver it. One week later, Dalton called my Dad again and ordered another transport load of wood. This time, when my Dad got there, he asked Dalton where his wood splitter was.....Dalton pointed to his axe and replied "Right there.". I remember my Dad telling me that Dalton was one of the hardest working people he'd ever met, and that's saying a lot from a guy in the logging industry. It was that same work ethic that got Dalton into the fight world. Dalton started with me in high school in some fitness and phy. ed courses, to say he wasn't in the best shape would be an understatement. However, he caught the fitness bug, and started asking me the right questions, then started doing the work. Not only was he splitting wood, he was running 10k as well. Dalton started coming out to Ho Shin Sool and applied that same work ethic to his fighting skills. He took his beatings with a smile, learned the fight game, started driving to Detroit for Jiu-Jitsu tournaments (where he won two championship belts), and then had an opportunity to fight in King of the Cage. If you saw his first fight (which he won), you know what I mean when I say that this kid is tougher than a two dollar steak! I can't wait to see this guy fight again, with his work capacity, he's going to be faster, tougher, stronger, and more skilled.
